Well actually it doesn't. In fact the membership fees are really only a token. How does a buck a week sound? That's A WEEK, not A DAY!
We could charge a couple of dollars a day and serious designers, illustrators and web artists wouldn't blink. But we want to make it as inexpensive as we possibly can - in fact a dollar a week barely covers administration expenses.
